What you guys do is simply inspiring. I remember watching you guys back home in Gainesville as a teenager, and just being completely blown away. I had never had the privilege of being in the front line of such an extraordinary display of talent and art. Gosia and Ali provided current and typical wedding music with a fun twist. They got everyone dancing and were very reasonably priced. We got the big band feeling without the big band cost and they made our reception so wonderful.

My sister had Gosia and Ali play at her wedding, and I decided to do the same. They learned and performed our song beautifully, and our guests are still commenting on how wonderful the music was at our wedding. The evening was absolutely magical and Gosia and Ali were a big part of making it so. They have a great selection of music and are consummate musicians who can play just about anything from classical to jazz to pop, r&b, rock, Latin…perfect for a wedding! They can put together any size group (we used a 5-piece combo), and I would hire them again for any party,and recommend them wholeheartedly.

On Mindwalk’s inaugural recording “*WON!”, Malaysian bassist Ali Che’Ree totally redefines the role of the bass in the New Age/Instrumental genre. Usually, bass players in similar genres are relegated to playing long arco lines that are mostly felt and not heard, but not Ali. His bass lines are active and kinetic, with interesting melodic twists and turns that keep you from ignoring him. Of particular note is his sterling effort on the song “Fantasies” which is receiving significant radio air play even though it is a somewhat lengthy tune. Be sure to check out Ali and Mindwalk whenever the opportunity presents itself!

This was the first time hearing this band perform. The wedding began with them playing the most beautiful instrumental music before the ceremony in botanical gardens outside, to singing 1000 Years as the bride and groom walked hand in hand down the walk to join family and friends. Brought tears to more than my eyes only! Then continued to wow the guests to all types of dancing music and no one was sitting down after dinner was served. I’m still sore and limping after so much fun! Thank you all for your many talents and a wonderful occasion! Hope to be lucky enough to hear you again one day.
